Cancellation Policies

Your confidence and trust are important to us. When booking directly on our site, you are booking with confidence and peace of mind.

Your required booking deposit is 50%. The balance of your stay is due 30 days before check-in during peak season (November-April) and holidays. If you have uncertainty or concerns due to COVID-19 or other related issues, Contact us to discuss available options.

Suppose your trip is canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, including but not limited to quarantine, hospitalization, or travel restrictions. In that case, we will issue you a full refund or apply your deposit to a future stay for up to 16 months at the same rate. The choice is yours!

If your trip is canceled for any other reason, our standard cancellation policy applies:

Peak Season (November-April) 30 Day Cancellation Notice Required for a refund. If we can re-sell your room, we will gladly issue a refund. Otherwise, we will work with you to change the dates for a future booking.

Non-Peak Season (May-October) 3 Day Cancellation Notice Required for a refund. If we can re-sell your room, we will gladly issue a refund. Otherwise, we will work with you to change the dates for a future booking.

Holidays: The weeks of Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s require a 30 Day Cancellation Notice for a refund. If we can re-sell your room, we will gladly issue a refund.

Mariposa Belize Beach Resort Cancellation Policies on 3rd party websites differ due to commissions and contractual obligations. Generally, bookings on 3rd party websites are non-cancellable 30 days before arrival.
