As we welcome you back to Mariposa Beach Resort, we are committed to providing you with a safe environment that aligns with expert protocols (Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC, USA)) for working to defeat COVID-19. Protocols consisting of in-house and outside experts in food and water safety, hygiene and infection prevention, and hotel operations, our Mariposa Management Team is redefining our cleaning and safety standards. We will actively monitor and evolve our solutions to ensure a continued focus on the health and safety of our guests and staff members.

Public Spaces

Starting with our public spaces and high-traffic areas, we are going above and beyond our normal protocols. We are cleaning surfaces with increased frequency with new recommended cleaning products.

Hand Sanitizer

Hand sanitizing stations are being installed at our restaurant/bar area, kitchen, at our front desk/office area, and pool area.

Social Distancing

Signage in public spaces will remind our guests to maintain social distancing. Currently the Government of Belize has asked for 6 feet distancing and the use of mask protection.  As these guidelines change, we will implement the changes accordingly.

Guest Rooms

In guest rooms, we have elevated our rigorous protocols to thoroughly clean all surfaces with hospital-grade disinfectants. And we will be placing sanitization gel in each room for your use.

New Cleaning Technologies

We are rolling out enhanced technologies including electronic hand sanitizers throughout the resort. We are also testing a chemical fogger machine which is a sanitization device that kills all air born and surface germs in each room.

Communication

During the check in process we will ensure you are well informed of our sanitization safety procedures for both guest and Mariposa staff members.  We welcome your feedback and advice as we move forward in these unprecedented times.
